About Hometown Worldwide
Hometown Worldwide is a lifestyle clothing brand founded on June 21, 2022 by Lonnell Wiggins Jr, with a mission to create apparel that represents where people come from, where they’re going, and the pride they carry with them along the way.
What started as a small idea inspired by hometown pride has grown into a community driven brand that reaches customers across the country. Founded in Portsmouth, Virginia, Hometown Worldwide was built on the belief that everyone has a hometown that helped shape who they are. Whether it’s a city, a neighborhood, or a place that feels like home, that connection never leaves you.
Shortly after launching the brand, Lonnell relocated to Richmond, Virginia to expand Hometown Worldwide’s reach and introduce the brand to new communities. Through pop-up events, online sales and marketing, the brand steadily grew beyond its hometown roots.
Expanding the Vision
In 2023, Lonnell partnered with his childhood best friend, Benjamin Faulks, to launch Hometown Activewear, the performance focused line of Hometown Worldwide.
Designed for training, movement, and everyday life, Hometown Activewear was created to serve athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone pursuing a healthier lifestyle while staying connected to the same hometown values that built the original brand.
Together, the two brands continue to bridge the gap between streetwear, activewear, and lifestyle apparel.
Growing Beyond Virginia
As the brand continued to grow, so did its reach.
Today, Hometown Worldwide is proud to have shipped products to customers in more than 100 cities across the United States, connecting people from different backgrounds through a shared sense of community and hometown pride.
In 2025, Lonnell relocated once again only this time to Charlotte, North Carolina to continue expanding Hometown Worldwide into new markets while maintaining operations in Virginia alongside Benjamin.
This next chapter represents the brand’s commitment to growth, community building, and creating opportunities far beyond where it started.
